| Design house Saint&Libertine New York, LLC was founded by Ivy Kirzhner in 2012 with the objective of creating brands that reflect new and interesting perspectives inspired by the rich tradition and history of art, fashion and global culture. Begun in early 2009 by Ivy as a creative outlet for her multifarious passions in fashion, visual art and photography, the website has since evolved into a visual style house, curating artistic and whimsical narratives revolving around latest discoveries in design, art, fashion, styling, art direction, photography, global travels, cultural lifestyle and market intelligence in New York City and beyond, all captured through the lens and art direction of creative power-couple, Ivy and Alex R. Kirzhner.
As the website began to reflect more sophisticated and intricate layers of Ivy’s stylings, she used it as a springboard to develop the concept of a design house that promoted her artistic sensibilities through original and collaborative projects. The first of these projects is the namesake IVY KIRZHNER New York contemporary-luxury women’s footwear line that materializes the Saint&Libertine design ethos and extends it to a wider audience. Along with the debut of IVY KIRZHNER New York footwear came a string of collaborations with several other New York-based artists, designers and tastemakers in mutliple categories such as clothing and jewelry.
